Data

Upload a dataset

SEMGate reads CSV, Excel (.xlsx, .xls) and SPSS (.sav, .zsav, .por) files.

Two ways:

Way 1

Drag and drop a file

  1. 1Open the Data tab of your project.
  2. 2Drag the file from your computer onto Drop a file or click to upload.
  3. 3Wait for Uploading… to finish. The data grid and the dataset chip appear.

Way 2

Click to choose a file

  1. 1On the Data tab, click the drop zone (or Upload in the toolbar).
  2. 2Choose the file in your computer's file picker and confirm.

Good to know

  • SPSS variable labels and value labels are kept, so group variables such as Gender keep their names.
