Getting started

Choose PLS-SEM or CB-SEM

Each project can be estimated with PLS-SEM (default) or covariance-based SEM (CB-SEM).

How to

  1. 1Look at the right end of the Studio header for PLS-SEM · switch · CB-SEM.
  2. 2Click the switch to change method. The bold label shows the active one.
  3. 3CB-SEM opens the Measurement and Structural panes; PLS-SEM uses one canvas.

Good to know

  • PLSpredict, IPMA, NCA and several advanced methods are PLS-SEM only; the Analyze menu greys them out in CB-SEM.
